Tizre
Let’s pick up the story from 2001. As an avid music fan of all genres listening to some compelling moments of music creativity over the years. Moby was an Artist which stood out.
I love any melodic synth arrangements in pop music.
After various demo's crafting the sound I wanted. 2019 I signed with Europe City Records, based in Amsterdam.
My first album 'Love over Destruction'
I was fortunate to be introduced to musicians from Europe and other parts of the world. Released in 2020.
Then the follow up album 'Hope over Destruction' released in May 2021
I relocated to Tampa, Florida, and discovered a wider talent pool of musicians. I was introduced to a Producer/Engineer, Detra Deden based in Jakarta. Who was and still is instrumental in crafting the soundscape.
2022 'This ain't what you wanted' Silverio Simioni from Brazil joined the journey with me through his creative rock guitar.
The next album. ‘Black and White’ released in 2023 with Melisa Dopazo on Bass and Gui Andreatta on Drums. This shapes the group today with vocalist Chiara Amatruda based in Italy.
Our sound is clearly defined. Foundations of pop rock, synth melodies and pop induced vocals.
April 2024 we released ‘Fantastique’ Vol 1&2
On 2nd September 2024 A new release ‘reKixed’ a collection of songs remixed, re-worked, re-recorded and extended.

Like many Indie Artists trying to get their music out there. We all struggle to reach an audience and one way we can do this is using 3rd party digital media companies who organically promote music to playlist creators and curators. There are literally hundreds of these companies out there but many are unscrupulous and define their service in using Bots to increase stream count. Unfortunately we were mislead by one company who promised organic promotion only to use Bots to enhance our stream count. We saw very quickly what was happening but alas, it was too late. Despite every intention to use genuine organic listeners, Spotify flagged this Bot intervention and subsequently removed our album 'Black & White' and the single 'Lay your hands on me' via our digital distributor 'TuneCore' With no chance to appeal. Their decision was made. Not only made but removed these titles from all the digital music platforms. However, below are direct MP3 access to these tunes.

StereoGraphica
Tizre & their Indie record label 'ECR' based in Amsterdam offered me some digital files of some finished tracks from the new album release, due April 2022. Songs which have been produced by their Producer, Detra Deden. New vocal arrangements are being recorded on some new songs but based on the 6 new Tizre songs (there will be a total of 15 on the new album) from what I've heard...I am very impressed. More commercial, more guitar and certainly an electro rock feel to it. I am looking forward to the finished work and I have offered to write a full Curator review once released. Review - Shannon Dixon Cube Curator online
I was first introduced to Tizre back in August 2020 having been steered in their direction with Spotify’s algorithm of songs I may like. I listened and I liked! I was pleasantly surprised by their debut album ‘Love over Destruction’ and thus recommended to others to listen. As an introduction, I can confidently say their 2nd Album, Hope over Destruction Vol.2 is a bigger, bolder affair which to the ear offers a thumping ride of melodic pop/electro rock orientated synth tunes which simply outshine their previous release. Overall, in my opinion. Crystal clear arrangements, more percussion used and commercially more accessible.
Tizre have elevated their presence with a collection of songs which are not only more mature but also more accessible. Their unique proposition is that they gather musicians globally, all be it virtual and digitally but offer I feel, a richer sound which keeps the listener guessing what style/direction this group are heading. Therefore nothing is really the same. My top tip. Save it on your Playlist. Give it a few listens and I am sure there is more than enough to keep you going for another year until their next album.
Hope over Destruction - Track list
Prologue
Those who know of Rogers & Hammerstein musicals will know what a ‘Prologue’ is all about. A pre- cursor for the audience of what music they will hear during the show/film. A Prologue is a selection of songs arranged in a slightly different way. On this track. 6 songs are arranged into a 4 minute piece which could come straight out of a 1950’s Hollywood musical. I really liked it and something I am sure you wouldn’t hear any other contemporary artist do today.

save our souls (Rio Grande Mix)
After being treated to some very cool string arrangements. We enter Tizre's world. Keep it simple, keep it clean. A departure from their original single release. This version offers a Latin American feel supported by a back beat which draws you into a very good place. This certainly sets the tone that you want to hear more.

anything
Bang! Straight after the show starter of the Prologue. We get into something right here and now. Thumping kick drum and we’re quickly released into the world of Disco! A Bass line which runs it’s own time signature, keeping us on the journey of the song. Catchy anthem of a sample “Heya, Heya” I can envisage groovers lifting their hands in euphoric glee to this. Vocals tight and sung with conviction. I believe a song about poor communication in a relationship.

done that before
The vibe doesn’t stop! We’re introduced now to Tizre’s new direction. Electro Pop/Rock with a sprinkle of RnB. Gianna, a new singer to their collective from the United States belts this heart felt song about material vulnerability. Very catchy and a pulsating electronic Bass line. This for me one of the highlights of the album.

all over the world
For those Pet Shop Boys fans. This will probably appeal. Amber is back to provide a vocal that blends so well to this song. Offering a rich tone to the arrangement and production. Nice use of acoustic guitar which states the group are just not electronic. Backing vocals and harmonies are spot on which elevate this commercially driven song.

this decision
We’re back at the Disco! This time Donna Summers ‘I feel love’ has arrived. However, Tizre are keen to introduce a guitar driven feel and thump that melody out. A song, which I believe is about knowing where one stands in a relationship. Gianna sings this with a distinct tone of I’m reaching breaking point aligned to the lyrics. Very clever and credible.

am i not enough
Lorraina is brought back for one track and this is certainly a belter. A song about the rise in domestic abuse during the Covid pandemic. Lyrically brilliant and they couldn’t have chosen a more sympathetic vocalist. You can almost hear her pain as she sings “No wonder it’s confusing, it’s all highs then all lows” Catchy but with a menus of dark undertones. Again, a highlight for me and Tizre keen to show us their direction into soft/pop rock.

believing
Truly great. If Adele and her production team recorded this. It would be a global success. The beginning reminds me of ‘Telephone line’ by ELO. Gianna sings as if she’s saying the lines to someone over the phone. Then her vocal elevates to normal production values and we’re away. The song is clearly about the hope of finding love. What you get here is and certainly from what I perceive is that a vocalist who sings with conviction and understands the lyric, the song is so much more.

always the sun
So what do we have here? One of The Stranglers bigger hits being covered. Chosen for its melodic tune but also I believe because Tizre are heavily influenced by soft rock groups from the 70’s to 90’s However there is twist. Remember the Prologue? Well, we’re brought back to musical theatre as we’re treated not only with a rock-pop classic but it’s accompanied by a string arrangement. Amber does a brilliant job on this and I have to say everything about it is wonderment.

my fire went out
This is OMD and other pop oriented synth groups of the 80’s rolled into one. By the time you hear this track you know Tizre have taken a conscious move to more commercial accessible songs. This track confirms it. Awesome drum beat and Gianna’s vocals again sung with conviction. The swirling synth pads used, do it for me. I also liked the piano hook melody used. Like with other Tizre songs, all seems bright and rosy on the surface but underneath there’s a haunting backdrop of things which aren’t so cheery. This is based on their direct chord change to more melonic direction which brings the listener back to reality. I think this is partly the appeal of their music.

miss your kiss
Max returns with his Pop voice for a very catchy tune heavily influenced by acoustic guitar and jogging beat. I loved this. I can imagine this as an entry for Eurovision! It’s commercial and you don’t need to think too hard about the lyric. Just go with it.

you don't know me
Deep, meaningful and a drum track which is hypnotic. Amber belts out a fantastic vocal performance which for sure has no autotune. In fact no auto tune is ever used on this album along with little sample and loops used. What you get are musicians who sing or play their stuff for real. This song is quirky but at the same time very interesting to the ear.

arms around me
We’re taken back to west coast US pop rock on this one. Recorded as if it were Mono. Catchy and something you’d play at a Californian swimming pool party. In isolation you certainly wouldn’t think it’s them. Again it’s a message to us as the listener. Hear those guitars and drums? That’s a direction we’re going.

keep me awake
I’m no detective but this track offers the biggest clue in where musically Tizre are heading. Straight forward rock beat with guitar and a vocal provided by Amber which tells us, anything we release from here on now, this is our sound. This is the perfect way to end their album. Coming in at just under 7 minutes. We’re treated to a variation of themes which establishes their direction as more rock with a layering of pop.

Released on 27th July 2020
Funny how I find myself in love with you
If I could buy my reasoning
I'd pay to lose......one half won't do
I've asked myself, how much do you commit yourself
It's my life......Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends
Funny how I blind myself, I never knew
If I was sometimes played upon, afraid to lose
I'd tell myself what good do you do
Convince myself
It's my life.....Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends
I've asked myself, how much do you commit yourself?
It's my life
Don't you forget, caught in the crowd.
It never ends.

Love over Destruction - Released 8th June 2020
Limited Edition of 'Sadder than Strange' EP, available on Vinyl (July 2020)
"Tizre just seem to always give you the unexpected. Haunting yet melodic that simply sets your mind adrift to an interpretation of story telling"
"From the very first chord I knew I was in for a treat. 'Love over Destruction' I believe is their best work to date. 'Blink of an eye' is draw dropping stuff with synth pads to fill the senses"
"Love over Destruction" represents what Electro Pop is and should be at it's core. Blissful yet a sense of urgency that gets your feet tapping and mind levitating"
'Love over Destruction' has to be my album of choice for melancholic mood sets. Wistful and seductive.
